k-pop!

One nigh i was looking for something to watch on tv when i came across arirang - a korean multi-language (mainly korean and english) station and a program "pops in seoul". It was then when i discovered and developed liking to the korean pop music - k-pop in short. Soon my last.fm was filled with k-pop hits. I particularly liked two of them:

Girls' Generation, or SNSD as they are also called in Korea, came back after a long break with a new amazing hit single "Gee" - one of the cutest song i've ever heard.

Girls Generation - Gee

"After school" are five girls who are said to be the new korean pussycat dolls. Here's their new hit "Ah!"

After School - Ah!

britney's circus

in a nutshell:
i just listened to new britney's album, "circus". imo better than "blackout", more listenable, but still songs are too similar, her voice unnatural and the whole is so... atrificial. and i have this feeling that i already heard similar songs before, mainly in the 90s. yet i'm sure singles will be hits ("womanizer" already is). people just love britney.

[party_girl_mode_on]

Novembers are all about partyin' and clubbin'. either my brother comes, invites some friends and we all go to the fashion club or one of my classmates has a b'day. and because everybody wants to have fun it is good to get yourself in the mood before you go out (and yeas, i know what you think about, but i'm talkin' about music here! ;P) so while i'm puttin' my make up on and gettin' dressed i like to listen to such songs as (in random order):

1. Get Up Stand Up - Stellar Project Feat. Brandi Emma
Very old song, yet i don't think i will get bored of it in the nearest time. still positive, light and catchy.
.

2. Discotech - Young Love
one of my favourites. it's a must before i go out. plus a have tons of great memories associated with that song, so listening to it always brightens up my day ;]
.

3.Yeah Yeah - Bodyrox feat. Luciana
when i think about how crazy was last autumn... though all good things come to an end, i will always have the music and the memories ;] song full of energy and vibes - check out the video - really wicked stuff ;]and i'm in love with luciana's shoes there^^
.

4.I Wish You Would - Luciana
back then there was a time that i constantly listened to luciana. but her new songs aren't as good as those old ones. so i wish luciana would go back to the old sounds 'cause they were truly dashing.
.

5.Come On Girl - Taio Cruz feat. Luciana
did i mentioned i like luciana? ;]
.

6.Closer - Ne-Yo
the newest on this playlist. although i'm not that much into ne-yo's music (or chris brown's, matt pokora's or whoever plays similar music) i must admit this song is a hit. it makes me wanna dance ;]
.

7.DVNO - Justice
last but not least - ultimate anthem of clubbing ;D "don't need to ask my name to figure out how cool i am" - the lyrics speak for themselves, great cause true xD

coolness ;]

i've got this white-super-cool-hip-diesel's-style hat that i got for my birthday from my friends. and cause i recently changed my style of clothing a little bit i wear it often. and when i walk in this white-super-cool-hip-diesel's-style hat and my white leather jacket feeling all cool-and-hip-and-great-about-myself i listen to two extremely cool songs that i found via gossip girl ^^
ladies & gentlemen, i present you The Virgins!

autumn

it's ugly outside. really. all rainy, dark and cold.
out of cash and with no purpose of going out i'm lying under my warm eiderdown, drinking litres of tea, occupying my brother's room. and it's times like these i wanna listen to something soothing and a bit uplifting (but not too much).
there are a few songs like that, being gogol bordello's "through the roof and underground" my favourite. the song was featured in "wristcutters. a love story" (btw great movie, really worth watching, except for the too happy ending) and that's where i heard it for the first time.

.

the second fave is santogold's "icarus", featured on the "top ranking" mixtape.
man, i just love santi.
